Been to Rutland for the weekend laning with some likeminded friends.

Drive from Lancashire on Friday and back today through the Peak District.  I would have stopped off in Disleyland for a cuppa but I dont know your address Mick andd Paula.

Some of us who had booked a camping spot went and lept within the covid guidelines and social distancing rules drove the lanes on John's map and net together in groups of less than 6 at the correct distance.  the campsite had worked hard to make the facilities work and we did our bit by not breaking the rules.  It was NOT a Series 2 Club event, nor was it a Rutland landrovers event but it was a a number of groups of likeminded friends enjoying the weekend.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, the only downsides were a puncture and a broken exhaust hanger.  a replacement was provided very quickly by Rob Maude of LR Optional Equipment.  Thanks Rob

Yes I saw you I was just across with the brown and orange frame tent and the S2 SWB, there may also have been a blue S1 107 there as well

It was a good do all things considered, just no campfire or a barbq

At least you could have celebrated your birthday.  My 70th was in the middle of lockdown, I think I will transfer it to next year.
