H Pete, some lanes near Wetwang, then further NE towards bridlington

We used to go through Wetwang when we went to visit my grandparents who lived at Helperthorpe and then West Lutton

It is a beautiful part of the world but I havent been for many years.  Sledmere is wortha visit to look at the wagoners memorial from the first world war and thetre used to be (50 years or more ago) a cracking fish and chip shop in Wetwang.

Sadly I have never had the opportunity to go laning in that area.

Pete, not too far from a few of us, living in east yorkshire and yes the chip ole is still doing quality fish chips and scraps wdesmle
