There's a lot of tat attached to that V5  ;)

If it ever does see the road in some way or another, please for the love of God run it with those wings as they are.

Agreed! Leave the front wing panels as they are, fantastic!

Some progress - pile of parts continues to grow.

Yes there is a series III bulkhead and front panel in there - but I like a challenge and saved all I cold off the series II bulkhead, which was not very much.

List of things to find for next to nowt:

Engine + Gearbox (Poss sorted)
Chassis (debating using the one under my series III- genuine replacement fitted many moons ago)
Springs (as above)
Soft Top (I can dream)
Tailgate
Chrome swivel x1
Front bumper
All electrical items

Should I keep the MAP hubs and hand throttle? Partly tempted to sell them to help fund the project.

I'm afraid the hand throttle wont fit a series bulkhead, it is mounted to the underside of the metal dashboard on a series 2 :( - the one for a series III is bulkhead mounted - http://mud4fun.files.wordpress.com/2013/07/hand_throttle-51.jpg

I would be intrested in some shiney swivels! - PM on the way!

A few more bits for the series II project have been aquired, a sezied engine and a unknown gearbox!

Still collecting bits and bobs.

Bulkhead thanks to AlexB, and a 2.25p with new rings, head gasket and valve seals! needs a little more TLC but I wont complain! Also a galvanized rear cross member - just needs the rest of the chassis now!
