Well its been a busy year but I'v done a bit more  Banana
Trying to fit in a full width radiator but avoiding the steering relay had been a headache for a while now, so one thought was the use of a 90/110 manual steering box. Luckily I found some for sale not too far away and even managed a detour whilst delivering customers mobility scooters back to pick them up, as I got both a RHD and LHD one to try things out with.
After cutting away the small web at the bottom where the back of the front cross member meets the main chassis rail and some of the bracing around the bump stop mounting the RHD one has just got the space to be fitted.

It took a bit of work to get the relay out the way but turns out there wasn't much holding it on anyway  whstle

New steering box roughly in place again.

Came across this problem when I offered up the 2.5 TD radiator Adam kindly gave me (at the Christmas doo, so been a while to sort out lol)

But a look on line shows others with a 90 degree bend on the outlet that with a bit more movement of the radiator forward and the steering box back a touch should give me the answers I'm looking for  wdesmle
Can I combine 24 volts, 9.00's and an Tdi!!!!
