After doing the repairs and painting them earlier in the week and looking at the rest of the chassis I thought I really could use a new coat of paint, so gave it a blast with the pressure washer and started to go over the flaky paint with a wire brush wheel on the drill and then this greeted me  FRSsml

 





Took my time to cut it out as the loom passes through there, which I was then able to hold out the way with a couple of threaded bars through the old check strap holes.





Not exactly as it was but alot more solid now again.



Can I combine 24 volts, 9.00's and an Tdi!!!!
