Had a couple of days tinkering with it this week, fitted a new brake master cylinder to it Wednesday as I noticed it was leaking over winter and was quite pants when I went for a drive last weekend in it, and today with Toby's help we got all the air out the system and adjusted up properly. Need to get some heavy duty rear springs for it as currently with all the radio gear in the back it sits down quite low
Also set about it with an oily rag to give it a bit of a buff up too
For ages I'v been trying to find the T shaped rod and wing nut used to secure the water jerry can in place and the came across an old hand brake expander, and a rod that fitted though it so a bit of bodging later it was sorted
Also set about swapping the bulbs over on the swankey for 24 volt ones so I can tow it with the FFR and also set about making some number plates to fit on it too
Thought I had all the figures to put the military reg back on but missing an 2 at the mo, the other plate will have the FFR's reg on one side and TET's on the other side eventually
Logged
Can I combine 24 volts, 9.00's and an Tdi!!!!
