« on: February 01, 2014, 06:53:27 pm »
Well it had to be done I guess.... It was just too good to miss at the price...
Over drive, parrot Bollocks, FWH's and a 19j...
Some rust on bulkhead etc but nowt that cannot be sorted.. Some dodgy seats etc and a heap of useful character.

Recovery home due to broken clutch...

Just needs a name now...  rbchn

Series 2a bulkhead gearbox and chassis etc with some series 3 bits added... Chap had owned it for ages and his mum before hand... Bit of a Bitsa but in a kind of evolved over time way (the had a s3 station wagon that the chassis dissolved on, so stuff got shifted across.

Spot of de-cluttering this morning....

Bulkhead is a bit ropey where the seals sort of fit... But nothing not cureable... With a bit of patience.

That is a Kwality repair isnt it (New door tops needed and on the list )
Yes redundant hand throttle (Doesn't seem to be connected to the 19j's throttle assembly)

Previous owners method for mounting the six million ampere hour battery relocated from one of his work trucks ...So new battery on "Ze list" too .
