Sorry, I'm not very good at updating the thread, am I! Visibly, not much. And I've got sidetracked messing about with Sankeys.... I've got the front axle stripped, painted and have a bunch of shiny parts to build it all up with new bearings, brakes, swivels and seals. I've sourced a six pot bulkhead which is in good shape apart from the footwells and managed to find some replica footwells from Catmint, complete with all the correct ribs, stiffener plates and everything.

The engine is seized so solid I can't even move it after having got it moving reluctantly once already. I had heated it thoroughly by circulating hot water through it, so clearly now it's cold, it's not willing to cooperate. The cheapest way I can find to put it right is with liners that Dingocroft sell. Oversize pistons are a small fortune! Finding a decent replacement engine looks like a no hoper too - they all seem to be knackered or way too much money.

The chassis is all drawn up ready to have the sections laser cut, but finding someone who can operate a press brake seems nigh on impossible in this country, so I'm on the hunt for my own.

I'll try and post some pics when I'm back in front of the pc :)
