Finally got Ralph's face back together at the weekend
no pics but this week after work I'v stripped down the front wings, rubbed down and etch primed ready for painting soon before the weather gets too bad and so they can then be refitted once everything else under the bonnet area is done

Looking very nice, what colour etching primer are you using under red? I have a bit of fire truck I may rub down and paint in bright red, I have plenty of drab green etch which I use for most applications as its proper lead/oil based and sticks to awt, but was just wondering what you were using

More progress this weekend, first off yesterday was to paint the wings, bonnet and front apron with the
paint.
And whist they was drying the new vent seals were also fitted.
Followed by fitting the new (£££) Steve Parker exhaust.
Once dry the bonnet was first to be refitted yesterday along with the front apron too
Today the roof and upper rear body was all realigned and fitted better, along with Jimmy74 popping by to help and see how the oil cooler pipes needs to be shortened too, ending up with the passenger side wing refitted too

Since Getting Ralph back and driving about etc been having to put a few things right that I shouldn't of, like tighten down the windscreen and roof after the idiot who adjusted it for making the drivers door fit never did
but today was just little things like refitting the centre chubby box, canvass strap across the front panel and the wolf door trim on the passenger side for now

Well as most of us know at the weekend things didnt go so well for Ralph, as the pics show.
Wont really get to (re)start until after te Chrismas Doo but already ordered new wing mirrors and radiator and been offered a new roof from Toby so getting the parts together slowly but surely.

This is the first time I've caught up with Ralph's thread - judging by your opening statement I'd guess you have a habit of rolling Landies?!! Lucky that Norfolk is flat, otherwise I'd be getting seriously worried about taking Mattilda out with you on the Christmas Doo...
