Ralph the Red Rover
« on: December 03, 2013, 04:58:32 pm »
Well with the FFR and TET both having their own threads guess its only fair for Ralph to have one too  :D
Brought Ralph last year after rolling my (gay) 90

As brought, on Disco rims, 2.5 Sherpa engine, big rear windows, painted capping and gay white indicator len's

And as he is now, Debender 200 tdi out of my old 90, 3:54 diffs, new side panels, unpainted capping and proper indicators, 7.50's on (currently) lwb rims, heated screen, overdrive, Debender front seats, perfect daily driver  ;D
Can I combine 24 volts, 9.00's and an Tdi!!!!

Managed to acquire  ;) some military gay sprung door tops to fit onto Ralph the other day, always had a fair bit of a gap between the top and the roof, no matter how much I bent in the old door top, and the passenger side one is always sliding open and giving me an cold blast of air so gave these a bit of paint on the outside and fitted. Drivers side still has a small gap at the back of it so think that either the bulkhead or rear body isnt quite lined up  >:(
Colour doesn't quite match but planning a new coat of red at some point in the future though

Well been going here and there all over the place in Ralph whilst I'v been decorating and see people over the Christmas and new year period, all was well until the other day though  :-[

A visit to Fentiger and his hot metal glue gun  whoo

And good as new, well for now as we think theres alot of moisture inside it but still awesome Fentigerworkmanship as per   RCK

Still planing on tunage in Ralph so popped into Halfruads whilst the sales are on and came home with this too

Well after last nights smashing drive home  >:( I managed to locate a replacement pane from a friend over in Whittlesey   wdesmle
Even better its a laminated pane rather then the old safety glass that the old one was, quick clean up and removal of stickers (believe it was the drivers side from an ex military motor)

Decided to tip tip the screen forwards rather the take the top of the dash out etc and end up with bits of glass all inside
It may of flipped forwards a bit quicker then what I hoped for  whstle

All the old glass and black goo out the way and cleaned up, new clear sealant in place and glass fitted  wdesmle

And folded back up in place before dark and without a drop of rain, FTW  RCK
