Ive got the drive shaft fitted but not the drive dog. Can get them new but i met a guy at the scottish get together who had sold his winch but still had the dog so hopefully we will do the swap.

Got a letter back from the dvla telling me that the original registration is available so for the first time in 20 years it will carry its original registration number.

Blimey. Its been a while since i updated this. Finally got fed up of welding the chassis and funds have allowed so this arrived last weekend.



The fun begins tomorrow.

So, day 1 of the rebuild. The old man painted the chassis, first coat of t-wash and a cost of etch primer, has a look of desert camo now



I started to strip the landy but some stubborn bolts slowed down progress so didnt get as much done as i wanted

Folded the windscreen down and discovered that the bulkhead is more rotten than we first thought. Bugger.
