Original Chassis? Plenty of work to keep you busy there!

Good to see another truck getting worked on. You got much history on it?

Yes, original chassis, a lot more work on front end, outriggers etc. done over last Xmas.  And the bulkhead well!  another story.  However just doing the last bits ready for MOT.  Had to strip and respray roof, top coat yellow tonight, will try and remember to photograph.

Plenty of history known where it was in service, original photos, have correct winch and most auxiliary equipment,  looking for a period blue roof light. Will work on that over the next few months.

B --- OJT I did an internet search but it is one of I the last 15 series 3's into Coastguard service i.e. late 1984.  Fitted with 5 bearing engine.
