More progress on Batty Wagon yesterday, as much as we love Rex and Maya, on the long journeys it can get a bit too much when Rex jumps on your lap and blocks your view or the road ahead! So we've fitted a dog guard to keep them at bay. It is a Debender one so the top mount didn't quite work so I made some adaptions to use the loops we've already fitted in the roof to back it easy to remove when its not needed.

It did mean though I had to move the switch panel I made the other day back a bit more to clear it though! (can still reach the kill switch with it in place though) and also added another cigarette and usb socket to the drivers side as well, which we'll need to power the cb radio and Transcool in Scotland next month.

The other week at work I took in one of my old military water jerry cans and modified the big cap to take a tap on it.

Then yesterday I fitted a holder to the tailgate/veranda.

A bit of bodging later to change the front upper part to hinge open (as its in the tailgate recess) the jerrycans fits and now means when we lower the tailgate/veranda we have water on tap  whoo

Can I combine 24 volts, 9.00's and an Tdi!!!!
