Looking great! Definitely one of the best colours! The wiring problems remind me of mine, full on disco effect when indicating. Turned out to be all the chassis loom was twisted together and taped up after someone had replaced the rear x member!

Thanks James
Yer, I think it's the best Landy colour (especially with a bit of patina). And the wiring can be quite a night-mare with PO additions. On mine a trailer sockets been added by using some cheap nasty connectors, with all the wires the some colour
. I need to get round to sorting it out sometime.

Haven't uploaded any pics for far too long. Just found this from a few months back. I was helping a friend to set out an RTV trial. The boingy is my friends 1990 90" with a transplanted TD5.
And looking a bit farther back I found this from last year:

I've finally got started with the engine rebuild I've been planning. First stage is to take out the crankshaft so I can get it re-ground.
Time to get started:

Dropped the sump and pulled out the oil pump:

Thats as far as I got today. Hopefully pull off a few more bits in the next few days

The engine rebuild continues, today I managed to remove the camshaft, take off the cylinder head and take out the pistons:
First order of the day was to remove the timing cover:

Once the timing cover had been removed I took off the timing chain and tensioner:

After quite a bit of fighting I managed to finally get the crank shaft out:

With the crankshaft removed the next step was to take off the cylinder head. With the cylinder head removed the head gasket didn't look to bad, could possibly be the original:

One of the cylinder bores, itdoesn't look to bad to me:

The top few mm's aren't as worn as the rest of the cylinder I believe due to the piston rings not riding that far up:

The engine so far, not much left to take off now:

Next job is to check the crankshaft and cylinder bores for wear and see how much needs to be taken off.
