There is some sense in doing some of the bulkhead repairs in situ in terms of lining stuff up etc. I would certainly do the door pillars even it was just tacking them but ultimately the choice is yours. I've got a couple of bulkheads to do and I'm now looking at making a jig of some description using a bit of old chassis and outriggers.
