As promised, here are some piccies of my 1970 Series IIA Station Wagon. Note the tropical roof and 15" wheels. The front jerry can holds water and doesn't appear to impede airflow - it has never overheated.
Side marker lamps were an option.
Curious bracket to hold a jerry can - there was one on each side. There was also a gun rack behind the seats and a CB radio - both long gone.
There's a bridge plate on the back door - I think a previous owner was a Navy Seal who served in Germany where he probably got a taste for Land Rovers and the bridge plate was a souvenir.
You were probably hoping for something a bit more sexy but to be honest, most Land Rovers I've seen over here were hard tops. Soft tops were an aftermarket add-on. Don't let that stop you though!
