Once again, it`s been a while.
well the 5 speed is out and a 4 speed back in, just didn't get on with the 5 speed hey ho lesson learned, she ran down to leafer's t pit with no issues apart from the split charge system playing up and us flattening the starter battery, but with a little help from friends we were alive and kicking again.
so jobs to do are, sort the split charge and install one of them Chinese diesel night heaters for some back end of the year camping.
Hoping your all well
Regards Chris

Hey up folks,
Over the last two days I've taken the cab apart to refit the reversing light switch which I couldn't find when I put the 4 speed back in.
I`ve grafted a led unimog reversing lamp unit into the old spanish caged plough lamp I`ve had kicking around and fitted it to the roof rack over the passenger side rear quarter light, also I`ve wired it up so it either works off the reverse switch or off the leisure battery via the switch on the lamp body, pictures to follow tomorrow once I finish work...
Hoping your all well
Regards Chris.

Hey up,
not much to report other than I've put the xzls back on for winter and she's still being used daily, recently did a local logging run and we now have timber for the next two years,
hoping the gearbox will get us through the winter,
hoping your all still well, doesn't seem that the forum gets much use these days.
Many Regards Chris
