Out and about with Bubba.
« on: January 12, 2014, 02:29:20 pm »
Took bud out for a long muddy walk near where we live. Right next to the car park is a steep lane that I had seen a couple of times but never had the bottle to drive down, only because since having bubba I haven't taken him off road. Anyhow as I had the missus and dog on board and the need to see whether my fwd would work I thought it would be a good crack to drive this lane home. ITs about a 1 in 4 in places and since we've had the rain its washed a lot of it clean with plenty of ruts so made for a nice uneven surface.

It had this missus giggling like a school girl however bud wasn't enjoying the ride. He still hates being in the back of any vehicle.
The upshot of my fwd is that it will stay in in high range but not in low. Any suggestions greatly received.
On the way home saw a nice little 2a reg no. SAD259G Tidy looking thing and hadn't seen it around before. Didn't take a pic though and now wish I had!
