Morning All
« on: December 30, 2017, 10:22:56 am »
Morning All,

I'm Luke from Rotherham, i joined a month back while browsing the net for series disk brake conversions (still planning to do this) but recently came across some of Stephen Patchett's videos on youtube which led me back to here - so i thought i'd post a hello

My landy is a Series 3 109 with a 300TDI and quite a few other mods (not one for rivet counters), been 'restoring' it for a few years now and it's very close to actually seeing the road, i plan to use it as it should be so it's not a minter but i have done a chassis up rebuild so rare for a landy it now has no rust.

Welcome to the mad house. If you can, put up some pictures of your rebuild project for us all to admire.
I have discs on the front of my 109 and I'm about to fit them to the rear ( when the kit arrives ) too. Where are you planning to buy your kit from?

All the best for 2018.

Jimmy

Boo dude welcome along. Just as long as you enjoy the motor and get to drive it soon that's all that matters and another one is saved from the scrap yard.

hello and welcome along! I also have disks on the front, such a difference in the way it stops, even compared to a well set up system.
I used the Wild Industries brackets and machined the hubs myself,  if you search this forum for something along the lines of "disk conversion DIY style" you'll find a post by the username 'Wild'... although I don't think he is making the kits any more.

Anyway, welcome!  Rock

Both my kits are from Zeus Enginering. As Tom said, The stooping difference is Black and White. Only reason I'm changing the rears is because of the inferior quality brake shoes on the market.

Hi Carlos.

Welcome.

Stay tuned in and enjoy the merry banter.
All the right bits, but not necessarily in the right order.
