How-do from Lancs
« on: March 13, 2017, 08:41:24 pm »
Quick hello from Lancs folks.

Am currently without a Land Rover on my drive as it is in a storage unit… in bits… many, many bits.

Have a relatively original 1969 SIIA 88in which was stripped, flat-packed and awaiting a rebuild on a new chassis.

Done a few LR rebuilds now, one nut-and-bolt, and swore I wouldn't do another. Obviously it didn't take!

Cheers pal - cracking wee forum, surprised I'd never heard about it before now.

Quite a few usernames I recognise from buying bits off folk locally.

Am dying to put up a wanted ad for some other bits I need but seems a bit cheeky to say "hello, I'm new… oh and can I buy a load of bits off you".

…so may lurk for a while first  ;)

Yep - I was quietly helping to collect bits for the family SIII up north. Found a guy selling the tub they needed and ended up buying the whole vehicle he was looking to break.

Family can find their own tub - I now have me a IIA to build.

Eh up Mi Duck, from Derby.
All the right bits, but not necessarily in the right order.
