It didn't look too crispy when I bought it! It was a genuine barn find bought for £400. I rebuilt the fuel pump and seplaced the brake pads/shoes and got it MOT'd. Sadly about six months later (after being used as my daily driver) the big end went. I got the engine out at a local garage to be rebuilt. At the same time I asked them to fit poly bushes and replace the brake lines. That was when we found that the rear wings comprised of 1/2" or more of filler around the arches and the sills were literally made of paper machie! Decided that it would be best to take home and strip down before rebuilding properly. The engine has a new overbored block and just needs put back together, but I have not started on the shell yet. Unfortunatly a house extension has got in the way but should be finished that by the end of the summer and then will get the B rebuilt.
The eary RB ones aren't too bad actually and can be easilly converted to chrome if you prefer that look. I wouldn't be surprised though if they start to get their own seperate following as prices continue to climb, much in the way that happened with early Porsche 911 which now have their own impact bumper club!
