Hello from hertfordshire
« on: December 30, 2013, 06:09:36 pm »
Hello all,
I've had a few series motors over the years, currently have a roadworthy swb series 1, as well as 2 series 2a's.
The first one is near the end of a long drawn out rebuild, bought it when i was 15 and rebuilt it badly - hence doing it again now, this time on a galv chassis. Hope to be finished by the end of next year.

The other one is a 1970 lwb safari, which i bought on a whim, as a bundle of parts. I bought it on the basis i could make the money back on the overdrive, but its all there and in pretty good condition, so will be rebuilt on a new chassis, after the other one is complete.

Not a great photo i'm afraid, but most of them have a questionable motor in the  backround!

Thanks,
I was lucky with mine, didn't need too much work, just a bit of tidying but will get some upgrades next year as & when I get the time/money
