Just a quick heads up ...

When checking that the campsite will definitely still be open this weekend, the reply was "we normally stay open until the end of October but it depends on how much rain there has been"

As that doesn't really help, Mick and I are going to drive over on Thursday afternoon and ask them

So watch out for an update on Thursday

ALSO, it's possible/probable that the pub won't be doing any food.  Will try and find out out

They've not done food for some time sadly..... However

The curry cottage down at Stoney Middleton have delivered food to us at the campsite in the past  if that's any help.

The pub brings back memories from long long ago.

My uncle bought me my first pub pint in there when I was 14 much to may gad's annoyance.  I had to wait till I was 18 before he would buy me a pint.

What times kick off on the sat, looks like I can’t make the Sunday. But could take a little trip round local lanes before hand on the sat?

With apologies, I'm unfortunately going to have to count myself out of this, being sensible. I've a rather long 'to-do' list for this weekend, and to confound matters, have been advised today that I no longer have Monday off. Should save a few petrol pennies for the Christmas do, at least. Hope those who do head over have a grand time!
