I disembarked my  (big yellow) taxi at approximately 15.00hrs, any indignity covered by me saving a wedge in petrol. My suspicions are the slave cylinder , with all Vidal's fluid having being squirted into my bell housing and promptly dribbling out. ssies

A brilliant, if not a very wet doo (for me anyway) with special thanks to Emma and the catering drones, Ian and Harry for a couple of lifts and Steve for vital fluids. Shame the third attempt ended in a fail. Could've been worse though, I might have got stuck on a rock or something ;D

I can't add much to what has already been said. Brilliant weekend, company, location, cooking and hospitality. Thank You all.

I hope the Lakeland lanes didn't disappoint, I never tire of them and there is one or two more left to go at next xmas.

crling Christmas came early for us too, with the addition of our new four legged family member. Thanks Emma+Luke. He has already had four walks and plenty of power naps!  dgs

Another cracking weekend, I had an absolute ball - definitely worth the trek back.  Special thanks go to Emma for organising, HippyDave for being masterchef, Mick SWB for providing sloe gin (and therefore merriment), Luke for taking part in one of the dodgiest car purchasing deals I've ever heard of (it will come to fruition...one day) and to the rest of you for making these doos what they are.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the pictures and to recovering from the amount of drink drunk and stomach pain from laughing too much.

Hope to see you all soon!

I forgot to bring my chestnuts along - just found them tonight, that fire would have been ideal for roasting them!
