Pentillie Castle Defender day March 29th
« on: March 07, 2020, 07:40:23 am »
Hey everyone, me again.

Now I’m getting the distinct feeling that I may be one of the furthest south on the forum and indeed one of the only forum members located right down in Cornwall. However I’m gonna keep trying to meet other people!

At the end of March (I fact the first longer  day after the clocks go forward) there is an event at Pentillie Castle in Saltash (very nearly over the border!) Its called defender day but is really just a Land Rover day. There is a group of trade and small club stands and a 7km off road course, which my s3 and a friends 2a completed no problems on small road tyres last year (though I get the feeling it may be a bit more damp and perhaps slippery this year) And then there is the usual food and drink (pasties obvs) and a parking field full of attending enthusiasts in all sorts of Land Rovers.

There’s a few of us going from what Is being dubbed the NTLCC (people I work with) with motors ranging from a 4x2 series 1, to my 3

If anyone is in the area it would be good to meet up. 👍🏼

Sam.

I'll be in Perranporth for a week in July.
Unfortunately not in the 88" though.

I'll still be spotting leafers while I'm down there. drll
