Hi all, one of two of us down here in the tropical south have decided to try and get a bit of a camping trip together.

I found a campsite called Bracelands Camp Site , It is here on Google Maps.

It is a big site, they allow rallies & groups, and would be an ideal time to test your camping stuff a month or so before leafers at t' pit :)

There are A few attractions nearby including a steam railway! http://www.deanforestrailway.co.uk/

There should be enough B-roads, A-roads and motorways to suit whatever pace your landy travels at so please come along. I've tried to find somewhere that is sort of central and isn't a pain the backside to get to  :Dancing-Chilli1group:

I have an excellent fire pit made out of an old washing machine drum, which we will bring along, along with a barbecue.

With much enthusiasm I will start the list!

Checked diary, it looks like I'll be in Scotland on Friday so it may not be workable.

Mick and Paula - would love to come but will put us down as just a possibility as we're going to War and Peace at the end of July and the 101 may not feel like a 300 mile round trip less than 2 weeks before that!

I'll pop a post up on LR4x4.com too, there are a few good chaps with leafers who I think might be interested.

Great stuff mick and paula, and gutting redwinch...  I'd love to go on a euroleafing trip next year if i've bought a house by then!

I'm also bringing a medium/large-ish barbecue so if the weathers nice we can all turn some sausages into charcoal fingers  fnky
