Spent a wonderful week on Mull staying at Craignure in the pub. The landlord was a sparky from Glasgow and had come over to the island 20 yrs previously and never went back......says all you need to know really, I do seem to remember him telling me that they have to put up temporary  traffic lights if anyone wants to sit their driving test on the island.........might have been pulling my leg but I was very, very drunk
