Think we got really lucky on the weather front, felt more like the Channel Islands.
No problems part from a puncture on islay in bowmore.
Nearly a 1000 miles covered in 8 days.
Friendly lot of people on islay as we'll.
Big thanks to. Gene for the camping and local trip around

Far from it Gene... It was nice to get some info to fill in the blanks and gather some of the history of the cracking part of the world you live in.

Well 260 miles later sees us land at Alnmouth south of Berwick and on the home leg.... Found loverly campsite by a river... Nice quiet pitch (wild camping in Scotland spoils you FACT!.
it's really been a week of stunning views and great company with some new experiences for me personally... Wild camping really is something else.
Big BIG thanks to all that turned up... And especially Gene for his hospitality AND generosity in organising both laning/facilities/fire etc.
More to come when I've uploaded the rest....
Roll on next year.... Orkney Isles next time? ;-)

Last of a string of mishaps... just left last campsite at Acklington when near side front tyre come out in sympathy with trailer tyre that had given its last breath coming off the Oban ferry!

Home Sweet Home
A view and a dog........ at peace
Drawin' 't fire
This is nae hoo we park oor leafers roond here Jimmy.....thanks to Ian and Tigger-on-speed for the recovery
What's the story? - Wouldn't you like to know? (under ten year old needed to make sense of that one)
and lo, on the eight day, Luke did venture forth to the sea and bring for the people the piece of Cod that passeth all understanding ...........and they saw that it was good.
The most amazing time - thanks to all for the experience, the company and the adventure.
