Hope to go on this one but was going to meet you on the way to Genes but can only take a week off. My question is were do you roughly think or plan to be about Sat or Sun?   wdesmle
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

The camp-site at mine should have a signal, its line of sight to the mast. Can't check right now, the field is under a foot of water

Thinking ferry costs may be a killer on top of fuel, maybe not such a good plan for us.

The ferry to orkney isnt too bad if you go gills bay to st margarets hope, only £50 one way for car and driver. Northlink from aberdeen is another matter all together. ££££

Still VERY tempted by this! Will have to see what we are doing. Don't think we can commit to Goodwood this year so this MIGHT be on the cards.

I love the sound of this trip but sadly my Dormie is t'other side of the pond. I LOVE epic trips and this looks like it will be one of the best. I will follow the plans with interest............
