Well so far we've got preferable dates from

Chippers
Mrs and Mr Gadget
Icey and Tracey can fit in pretty much with others

So come on folks get your hands up with dates so we can get this show on the road.... Miss out AND you'll be missing out on full on epicness.

Don't be nervous about the distances... We'll all be travelling as a group so we should have plenty of expertise and spares between us.
Folks that haven't joined us before will be most welcome too....
We were all noobs once remember ;-)

As I said originally, July works best for us. If the S1 do is the first weekend of the doo

Those going to "Thistle Do" can get on Campsite Friday, so ideally whatever is organised if it is before the LRSOC do needs to finish somewhere near Kelso, mid afternoon of Friday 27th.  I would prefer before the LRSOC do.

How many days do we think the jaunt can be?  Count back from a Friday finish.

LRSOC are suggesting routes (a thistle hunt) for those who have attended the "Thistle do" for after the event. (Sunday night spent on the Kelso campsite) then routes and camping Monday Tues Wed and Thurs and Friday is find your own site for the night, home on Saturday.

An event after thistle do would, for series one owners, be an either or choice,  an event before means they have the option of participating in both....

Having said that there is not a lot of support for a LRSOC plan.  101 entries and only 17 wanting to stay on after.  LRSOC plan seems a bit formal with campsites.  I prefer the idea of some rough camping and if I had to choose LRSOC campsite plan or Leafers rough Camping I would go rough camping so I am not averse to something after "thistle do"

About 95 miles from me to Kelso, if that's any use to anyone.

Has any decision been made whether his is going to be before or after LRSOC "thistle do"?  I thought some sort of decision was imminent. Some of us do have to book leave!

Still flexible but can't do 18th June if it's slipping in that direction.

I'm not too sure of numbers for S1 rally Richard ...and to be honest I'm personally not that fussed either
