Should be a good day out, interesting fact about the Tanfield railway, it has the worlds oldest railway bridge. Baldy knows this cos he worked on it when it was built whstle

Anyone stopping over, ther3 is a decent ba4 within walking distance.
Search for the Causey Arch.
Good meals etc.

I have already scouted that particular location and plans have been laid for a venture out, for a beer and to borrow some warmth from the fire.
