Camping near leafers
« on: June 19, 2017, 12:35:09 pm »
Hello!

Hoping to join you all this year, though missed the camping list. Sooo, I'm on the lookout for nearby campsite recommendations if anyone might be so  kind?

Many thanks, and looking forward to putting faces to names

Ian

Nearby is a camp site called Winterset. It's next to a group of lakes which are nice tg walk around, plus the best pub in England. Called the anglers retreat.

How far is Winterset from the pit?

There is a camping and caravanning club site at Shepley (9 miles from the pit) but someone in your party needs to be a club memer.  That is where we are staying.

Souds as though it is a similar distance to the one we are staying at.

Highfield House Camp site has been booked up for months for that weekend, hence the need for other sites.
