What's Jim up to nowadays? - I PM'd him yonks back when he had his trouble and he never replied.

As long as he's OK.
If you talk to him, tell him I asked after him please.  :)

Will there be beer on sale during the day or is it just for the privelidged few who are able to camp at the pit?

I think there is a bar in the café up at the main end of the museum (or at least there used to be), failing that, there is a little pub across the road from the main entrance (just up in the woods) called The Reindeer Inn - where a few normally meet.....

I'm fine and relatively dandy. Yes, the kitchen thing is happening. it arrives this coming week.... and I've just been signed on the sick again, all to do with the slipped disc, sciatica, and premature degenerative spinal issues. Sorry to disappoint all, I really wanted to come, but keeping my wonderful better half happy is worth a million trips to Leafers.
Bollocks to the lot of you.

Just a heads up for the early part of the evening.

Aldi Pimms Substitute, pre mixed in a handy slurp sized can, is now reduced to 85p.

If you chuck a few tins in the freezer, they act as cool blocks until you need them, it would be rude to take them home again.
All the right bits, but not necessarily in the right order.
