Title: Hello from Toronto Canada!
Post by: mcarterSKW on November 21, 2022, 12:21:46 am
Hello from Toronto Canada!

I'm new to Series 1 and was lucky to acquire a rare 1952 LHD that is currently going through MOT work to make it roadworthy. I just got new Undercover seats and a hood set from VintageLR. Minus 9 here now, so it won't be on the road until Spring.

Looking forward to learning!

Cheers,

Michael

Excellent!

Hopefully, we'll be able to meet at the 75th Diamond Jubilee in NY next year!

Cheers,

M.

He sent me his Christmas letter today and he said he will be going.
He was driving around Lake Mitchegan earlier this year in a 109 Ex Army ambulance.
I can put you in touch, he will be in the UK in the next few weeks as his Mother recently passed away and he will attend her funeral.
Will meet up with him then.

The picture is when he had "Oxford" at his place after collecting it from the docks on its US tour

That would be wonderful, and many thanks for your consideration. I've read about the NA Oxford Tour....he must have been ecstatic!

Please convey my condolences to him in these difficult times.

Anyone can reach me at mcarter@theskonkworks.com.

Thanks again!

Michael
