over the lockdown i've watched weeladeelas .is it just me that has had to grind off every fastener ever or bought a truck that may have a major problem but is cured by an oil and filter change?am i unlucky? anyone on here blessed with super buying powwers?you can keep quiet. tell us your worst purchases history and maybe save others in future .like a vaccine in fact or at least awarningfrom the passsst.

I remember my very first landy. 109 tropical roof. Ebay purchased unseen for about £350 (over 20 yrs ago).

It broke down on the way home with a suspected head gasket problem. The seat bar behind the front seats was all bent. The seats were all ripped and half the dash was hanging out. It was awesome.

The head gasket issue turned out to be that the previous owner didn't have the correct head bolts and rammed in metric thread instead.

I met a dealer at my very first Billing weekend and part exchanged (Open and Honestly) it for the S3 lightweight.

Things just got worse from there.
