Make sure you pop in the Anglers for a beer and some food.... The Kielder cobbler is epic as is the game pie.
We spent 3 loverly days there snowed in, in the camper Xmas before last.

I don't have many good memories of Otterburn Ranges, apart from one night with an LMG (Bren Gun converted to 7.62) and a large amount of ammo - including tracer! Great fun

Not sure many folks have happy memories of it up there Strangler... Mind being able to drive tracked armour along roman roads could be fun....
We were down at Castlemartin range at Xmas.... Some fun times when live firing is taking place at night ;-)

Late 80s budget. Ten Rounds per man per year. Most of us had to shout 'Bang'.
No live rounds, empty cases, pyrotechnics or loud statements in my possession, Sir.
