Well I wasn't drunk when I pressed buy it now. That's my excuse anyway. I've bought a series 1 Minerva. It's been delivered to My fathers in Cambridgeshire on Saturday morning. I haven't seen the old girl yet. Bought on trust. Well I've only paid the deposit so far, balance on Saturday.
As I'm now living in Brittany been LHD is no bother. It's a roadworthy example with all the original 1952 bits and pieces. I shall be using her regularly and hope to bring her over to leaders next year.
I will get picture posted on Saturday.
I've a contact over here who deals in Landrover's and he has a little stock of the range. If anyone is after a project drop me a pm and I will pass on his details.

I like the pigtail recovery doo dah.

She is a marvellous thing but she needs some TLC. The chassis has a few holes and the steering column bearings are missing so it's dangerous to drive at the moment. A little project for the spring once I've built a new workshop.

Ooh Very nice indeed 8)
I like the pigtail recovery doo dah.
I could see me taking that off after catching my knee on it, Not sure that would pass an SVA test either :D .
-
Gosh that's a looker. Very nice. If only we could post a wolf whistle whoo
-
That is very nice!
-
Why would it need an SVA test?
