Is it too early to start this off for this year?
I've got a SWB Carawagon style awning frame to bring for Chris (severebrainfailure).
I've got some spare ones as well, for LWB and SWB if anyone else is interested?
I think Andrew (moomoo) has some Toro overdrive parts for me rbchn
And I think Matt (Gossamer) might have some transluscent sheeting for my awning poles rbchn
I can bring my extended axle breather kits (HERE (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222158996103?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649)) if anyone wants one - £15 per kit.

I will bring some queens quids just in case you have some quality tat to barter over Ginger jwdrp BBs wdesmle
-
Anyone got any S2 top door hinges at reasonable cost they could bring, please?
Just the longer bits that fix to the door would do.
As you might know, I modify them to make them like a military hinge so folk can mount mirrors, and my loan pair went missing in the post.
It would be useful to have another pair to modify and send out to folk so they don't have to do without hinges for a week or so!
Cheers,
Robin.
-
Just been sorting out one of the hovels; found an old powder screen. Four foot plus by eight foot plus, very fine stainless steel mesh.
Bring to LATP or bin?
Any interest? rbchn
-
What size is the mesh? May have a use for it to modifiy my firepit on the deck
-
If it's very fine mesh, could I grab a section, please?
Carawagons originally had optional fly screens on the windows - I wouldn't mind trying to replicate them for mine wdesmle
I can bring tinsnips whstle
Cheers,
Robin.
-
Best thing is to bring it.
It is very fine, pin fine. It is not marked but it is much finer than the mesh in the front vents on the S3.
I dare say it will cut with good scissors. rbchn
-
The fly screens on the Carawagon side and roof windows are indeed a very fine mesh, much finer than the vent screens.
Just need some thin stainless strips to wrap the edges as frames like the originals then rbchn
-
if its very fine could i bag a couple of foot please
-
I am not sure what day I'll be there or what I'll be in but will make myself known whenever it is.
Got some bits for Robin anyway.
I think there might be enough for all, I'd say it's 4'x8' at least. wdesmle
-
lkebtn
-
cheers dude
-
Ill bring my tin snips with me in my toolbox if anyone needs to borrow them for triming the aforementioned stainless mesh
-
Could I pinch a bit of mesh for the grill on a camping stove please?

Shout up if any interest. Will take dibs.
-
I would like one of the indicator switches please, preferably the attached to the bracket.
Thanks
Peter
-
I'm interested in the gearbox back end, military light switch and possibly the diff, please.
-
Chippers, I wouldn't be giving away your gearbox back end. Your overdrive may be fine and dandy now, but if it fails in the future you'll likely need those bits.
-
Quite right Zuma.
THat's why I'm interested.
-
All dibs taken as above. Sadly, Zuma, I am currently Leafer Free as circumstances a year ago meant I had to sell the green pig. Still love em though, and maybe one day........
-
Ah! If you are missing the rest of the Landie, I suppose it is okay to let it go to a good home then.
-
I tried to be leafer free but just couldn't do it.
I lasted six months.
-
We hope to be free from them soon!!!!!!
-
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
-
Could I don the six way switch please, I will be there on Sunday hopefully regards steve
-
Got a few spare G90's lying around
Not a huge amount of tread left but we'll legal
Might do as spares
I know they had punctures In the past but they ran ok.with tubes
Any interest?
If wanted I will bring them down
-
I could do with one as a spare please Proff ;D
-
I have four LWB rims which had been shotblasted and powder coated. The powder coating has lost its 'gloss' appearance now though, and there is some very light surface rust spots on a couple of them, but that could soon be cleared up with a quick flash over with a rattle can.
Ideal for anyone who does not want to try and paint their own rusty rims - open to offers! (complete with 4 tubes too)
-
I could do with one as a spare please Proff ;D
I'll put your name on one wdesmle
-
ive the following if anyone is interested -
set of swb van sides - cream not to shabby
marine blue razor edge bonnet - no hinges
set of series 3 front door hinges inc mirrors
bolt in gun racks - serviceable
offers for any of the above - can bring on the sunday
also after a bonnets fastening / hasp type effort if anyone has one for sale/swap
thanks
-
Sent you a PM about the rims Mark.
-
Cheers Prof yrck
-
Tedman if no one claims the wheel carrier can I have it please and il stick a few gold coins in the beer pot for you.
Chippers my new S1 lightweight could do with some new light lenses but they are of various types. If you're bringing them may I have a rummage?

Any use to anyone? - £not much.

I've started ramping up production of canvas goodies, starting with tool rolls.
Tent peg bags, vin bags, gindoliers, and beer bags later this week.
Lozza's 9x9 bag is, of course, on ze leest.
I have some translucent sheeting to tempt you awning types with too.
There are also a few combat jackets, shirts and woolie pullies to try on. (Bring yer own mirror).

Hi Matt,
Do you think you might be able to make something for the inside of the Carawagon back door to hold a couple each of plates, dishes, cutlery, cooking tools etc.?
Something a bit like this but door sized with different sized pockets.
If you have a few minutes at t'Pit to chat about it I'm sure you could come up with something useful for us campers wdesmle
Cheers,
Robin.
-
Hi Robin
I was hoping to be making and bringing such things, this year.
I have plans for door pockets, Soft top side pockets and tent tidies.
Unfortunately the real world has pinched most of my time recently.
I'd be glad to hear of ideas and requirements at t'Pit this weekend.
I have a couple of Counter Rivet days left, so we shall see what falls off the sewing machine before close of play on Thursday.
There may even be a seletion of preloved tent and awning poles which could be adapted for other purposes.
Countess Rivet cannot come now so I am a vehicle down for bringing stuff.
-

I have a few bottles left over to bring with me.

Ok your name is on them

Apologies, chaps.
I haven't been as productive as I had hoped so there is not a massive amount of canvas stuff available, this year.
Please chat to me about your ex military ripstop requirements, though, I'd be inetrested to help if I can.
Sketches help get your ideas across.
Plenty of other stuff for you to look through , though.
There are some waterproof clothes too, might be handy ifthe biblical rain persists.
-
Or even interested.

Tedman, many thanks for the wheel bracket. I picked it up from Gossamer. yrck
