Title: Road Closed?

Someone please enlighten me?
I can't remember where I see this, but somewhere on the net I thought I saw that there will be road closures around T'pit over the bank holiday weekend.
Or have I got it totally mixed up with something somewhere else?   rbchn

I haven't seen anything other than roadwork lights on horbury bridge. I shall have a wander down route (from m1 jct 40) and let people know

From a post  by Sandra Roberts on the SeriouslySeries/LAtP facebook page,

"Just to let those of you who will be coming via the M1 J38 Barnsley Road Flockton, will be closed from 5pm to 5am on Friday 28th overnight, (its actually closed every night from Tuesday 25th). As locals know this is a very busy road at that time!!
Official advice states
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via A642 Wakefield Road, New Road, Netherton Lane, Upper Lane, Stocksmoor Road, Bar Lane, the unaffected length of Barnsley Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 25th August 2015 and remain in force for approximately four nights (17.00 hours - 05.00 hours only)"

Thanks Robin, that is exactly what I read "Somewhere".  fp1  wdesmle  Obviously on Facebook, but couldn't remember.  whstle

Well, I'll be a coming up on the Friday daytime, so this road work issue won't affect me.  ;)
